  • Consultation: The first step is to consult with Lee to discuss your case. After reviewing your case and determining whether you have a viable legal claim, Lee will explain the litigation process and discuss your options.
  • Investigation: This may involve gathering evidence, such as police reports, medical records, and witness statements. 
  • Demand: Once the investigation is complete, we will send a demand letter to the defendant or their insurance company. The demand letter will outline your injuries and damages and will state the amount of money you are seeking to recover.
  • Negotiation: After the demand letter has been sent, we begin the negotiation process with the adverse party. The goal of negotiations is to reach a settlement agreement that is fair to both parties. If negotiations do not result in a settlement then you go to arbitration or trial. 
  • Proceed to arbitration or trial: During the arbitration or trial an arbitrator, judge or jury (only at trials) will hear the case. During the trial, both sides will present their arguments to an arbitrary, judge or jury to determine how much money you will be awarded. Lee will explain this process to you in detail.
